Take the shop’s stock and drawer off paper.
When you replace paper and Excel in a small shop that still runs on paper or spreadsheets, the till knows the stock and the drawer is no longer counted on the back of a receipt. Every ticket moves the stock, and the drawer is counted when you open and close.
What paper costs you each month
- The till records sales but not stock, so the shelves are counted by eye and reordered too late.
- The drawer is counted on paper at night, and nobody can explain the difference the next morning.
- Returns are refunded from the drawer with no trace of the ticket they came from.
- Regular customers buy on account in a notebook, and their balances drift from what they believe they owe.
- Supplier orders are written from memory, so best sellers are forgotten and slow ones bought again.
A till that knows the stock
- Each ticket takes the goods out of the shop’s stock at once, by scanner, touch screen or scale label.
- The drawer is counted when you open and close. The difference is recorded and the day’s report is frozen.
- A return starts from the ticket number and goes back to the drawer, the card or store credit.
- Regular customers buy on account within their limit, and their balance is the shop’s balance.
- Products under their minimum go on the reorder list, grouped into a draft order per supplier.

How you move off paper
Send your lists
Your products, customers, suppliers, opening stock and price list come in from Excel.
Get a workspace for your trade
The workspace starts with the products, units, documents and rules of your trade.
Train the team
The first session is with the people who sell, buy and deliver.
Start with one order
The next order goes through the software from the quote to the invoice.
Let every ticket move the stock.
Open the live demo, or write a few lines about your shop. We reply and tell you how your products and your till would move in.
